I’m sensing a theme.

It’s funny how you go about your life feeling like you’re the only person who feels the way you do. Sure you may think that other people feel sadness, happiness, fear or love…. But do they feel it like you? Do they think like you do? No of course not, that would be impossible! No one understands you and no one ever will!

Or maybe we’re all just far too alike to see that we have anything in common at all. This year I’ve had very few serious talks with people. I’m not close to many people. But when the chances spring up and I get into an in depth conversation about how someone feels it all boils down to everyone feeling alone this year. Everyone feels detached, separated and forgotten. We’re all alone… together.

… You’d think it’d be comforting.

  1. Just a thought, I agree that we don't feel the same way, see the same way even though we go through the same or similar expiriences. We can't understand eachothers perspective, its impossible, and I beleive that that does justify us to feel completely alone and isolated even when our friends are there to help us. They can't and they won't be able to comprehend our feelings.

But, I have a testimony that there is one who has felt it all, exactly how we have felt it. And that we are not alone if we seek him. And that through our friends, even though they may not understand it, we can feel a manifestation of the Love of him who does understand, I beleive that he sent them to us so that we can understand that he knows our trials, and that he is mindful of us and has not forgotten us.

I love you. Hang in there!
